Vampire Killer Barbys - UK DVD Review

While on tour, Punk Band "Killer Barbys" drive through a lonely road in the countryside of Spain when their van breaks down. A creepy old man invites the group to spend the night in the castle of Countess Von Fledermaus and introduces himself as her secretary Arkan. Arkan tells the group he will contact the mechanic and he says the Countess loves young people. Three of the members accept the invitation to stay and the other two ( Billy and Sharon) stay in the van having Coitus. When the band meet the Countess they find out she is actually the Ancient artist Olga Luchan  and they find out how she has kept so young.

The movie was written & Directed By Jess Franco and stars  the Killer Barbies ( billed as Killer Barbys for legal reasons).

This is not the worst Jess Franco Movie but it's not the Best either. In the movie there is nudity, Blood, awful acting and a  flimsy plot.

There ARE better Jess Franco movies out there ( i assure you!) Go look for them, However, if you like Nudity,Blood, crap acting & flimsy plots then by all means watch this "Movie" ( i struggle to call it that!) but leave your brain at the door.

Special Features include: Behind the scenes featurette,Image Gallery & Jess Franco Filmography

The House With 100 Eyes DVD Review

Ed and Susan appear to be a normal loving couple, however, they are far from it. They are Snuff Filmmakers and want to make the first ever triple feature; Three victims, three kills, all in one night.

In order to provide their fans with everything you'd get on a Straight DVD, they have rigged their entire house with cameras and audio for your viewing pleasure. Ed's plan slowly unravels and it is all captured on tape.

The House with  100 eyes is  Written and Co-directed by Jim Roof (alongside Jay Lee), Jim also stars in the movie as Ed, his co stars include Shannon Malone ( Susan)  and Larissa Lynch (Jamie).

I really enjoyed this movie very much, the acting in the film was great , as was the plot. I recommend this to even the most Hard-core Horror Fan because it is genuinely creepy & disturbing.

The Possession of Michael King - UK Dvd Review

Michael King , doesn't believe in God or the Devil. When his wife dies suddenly he sets out to make a film about the existence of the supernatural, and makes himself the centre of the experiment.

After allowing demonologists, necromancers and practitioners of the occult to try their darkest rituals on him, he discovers that a horrifying demonic force has taken over his body. And it will not let him go!

The Possession of Michael King is a  2014 Horror film  Co-written ( and directed ) By  David Jung. The film stars Shane Johnston, Ella Anderson & Cara Pifko.

It IS a Demonic Possession Movie but it is a sinister take on the Subject, is it original? Probably not, but it is still an enjoyable scary movie ( It made me jump several times! which rarely happens!)  I really liked it. I recommend that you, get your mates round, get some booze ( or fizzy pop for you teetotallers) , Popcorn and check it out.

It's one of the best Horror movies i've seen this year, but make up your own mind.

I give this movie 5 Demons out of 5.

Unfortunately there are NO Special features on the DVD which sucks balls ( would've liked a Trailer at least).

Wolves - DVD Review

A Boy is trying to find out about his family History and stumbles upon a town of lycans.

"Wolves"  is an Action-Horror written & directed by David Hayter and stars Lucas Till, Stephen McHattie and John Pyper-Ferguson.

I thought this movie was pretty good, the acting was decent enough, the effects were good, the only down side, I thought, was a flimsy & predictable plot.

Don't get me wrong, it DID pass the time (87 minutes) and i did enjoy it for what it was, obviously there ARE much better werewolf films out there,  this is a decent addition to the werewolf subgenre.,  don't let me put you off tho, give it a go and see what you think.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space - Blu Ray/DVD review

When Mike and his girlfriend Debbie turn up at the local police station warning that a gang of homicidal alien clowns have arrived in the town of Crescent Grove, the cops are naturally sceptical. Talk of popcorn-firing guns and a spaceship shaped like a circus tent out in the woods hardly helps to convince them.

Before long, however, reports start coming in from anxious locals detailing similar run-ins with the Killer Klowns. There can be no doubt that the Killer Klowns from Outer Space are here & ready to turn the population of earth into candy floss (Cotton Candy for our US chums).

Killer Klowns From Outer Space is a 1988 Comedy Horror Sci-Fi and  is the sole directorial effort from the Chioda Brothers ( the special effects team behind Critters and Team America: World Police).

Grant Cramer stars as Mike Tobacco and Susanne Snyder as Debbie Stone in the film.

Special Features on Both the dvd & Blu Ray are:

Audio Commentary
Making of Featurette
interviews with the cast , Crew, music composer
Deleted Scenes (W/ audio Commentary)
Bloopers
Klown Auditions
Image Gallery
Original Theatrical Trailer

The Blu ray/dvd comes with a collectors booklet

The movie is more funny than Scary, but it's still a great movie to watch, I really enjoyed it and i think you will too.....unless you are afraid of clowns that is!

i give this movie 9 1/2 killer Klowns out of 10.
