Bianca Barnett Interview

Here is my Interview with Horror actress Bianca Barnett, i hope you enjoy it.

1.) How did you get into acting?

I began my career as a model, but my true passion is acting. I started out in short films, student projects, background (extra) work, music videos, and commercials until i finally landed my first major role in Albino Farm.

2.)  Did you always want to be an actress?

I have always loved performing for an audience, but originally i wanted to be a rock star. Initially i had doubts about acting and modeling, but quickly realized  that the rigorous life of touring, drugs, sex and  rock n' roll  would have put me in an early grave. I think I made the right choice!

3.) What has been your favourite movie to work on so far?

Hm, thats a tough one! They have all provided vital learning experiences and i met new and interesting characters along the way. I am still waiting for a role that I really get to explore and sink my teeth into.

4.) How are your fans towards you  when they meet you in person?

Most of them are very nice but really nervous. They kind of circle around a few times until they work up the nerve to talk to me.  They shouldn't be though, because i'm actually very friendly!  Occasionally I get an obnoxious jerk, but, 99.99% of my fans are amazing, polite and very gracious.

5.) Most people know you from your Horror Movies,  are you a fan of the Horror Genre?

Of course, it's my favourite!

6.) What is your favourite Horror Film?

It is impossible to choose just one. Right now i'm obsessed with obscure slasher films made in the late '70s that take place in the woods. I love when this type of movie starts out with a mellow hippie folk song and shows  the unsuspecting victims enjoying the splendor of nature. It is such an odd  juxtaposition of the graphic violence to come.

7.)  What do you think about  Horror Remakes?

If they are done well, i think it is a great way to introduce a film ( and the original) to a new audience. I would love to see some original stories come to the big screen with a decent budget.

8.) What do you think of CGI & 3D in Horror Movies?

I actually think  that the combination of CGI  and traditional practical effects  can work  really well together. I haven't  seen any of the recent 3D  horror films, but i want to! I am always so busy, it is hard  to get away  and catch a movie in the theater. Nothing beats watching a scary movie on the big screen with an audience!

9.) Any upcoming projects you would like to plug?

I have cameos in the films My Sucky Teen Romance  (in theaters this year), Dead Inside and The Toybox ( which should all be coming out this year!)  Hopefully i will film at least four movies this year. So, If you  are reading this and think I would work out for your film, Contact me!

10.)  How can people find out more about you and your projects?

11.) Is there anything  you would like to say to your fans?

Thank you all for your amazing support! Without you, I would not be able to pursue my dream!  For that  I am truly thankful.
